All About FatGeek Computer Service
My first computer I could call my own was given to me in 1981 when I was 11. It was a Tandy Color Computer 16k and it was awesome, and I still have it somewhere today. After that I had different machines off and on, a Vic 20, Commodore 64, TI/99, and others. I began repairing computers on my mission in Los Angeles back in 1991. I was working in the mission office after having surgery and was the only one who knew how use and repair the older systems they had there. When I returned I spent years helping friends and family build, use, and repair their computers. Suddenly I was "that guy" that everyone called when they had computer (and TV, and cell phone, and etc) trouble. After 15 years of helping everyone I knew and everyone they knew, I decided that it was time to do it professionally. Finally FatGeek Computer Service was born. I ran FatGeek for sometime as a second job until economic conditions made it possible for me to make it my primary profession. Since then our business has grown quickly, mostly due to word of mouth from our many satisfied customers. Unlike many in this field, I constantly strive to learn more and improve my skill set to enable me to do a better job for my customers. None of which would be possible without the help and support of my wife and family. -Monte McCall
